A small attic space can be an awkward space for grown ups, the angle can make the space too small or too short. However, an attic playroom can make up into a cozy kid-size hideaway. Little kids can use it to spend their times away from their older siblings, or maybe spending their times with their parents if the kids are really young. So, we may need to create an attic playroom which is quite spacious including for us too.
Usually, low furniture or multifunction / built-in furniture is preferred, it gives a sense of spaciousness in the attic. Well, although furniture for kids is usually small, it is always a good idea to use a low art or craft table together with a rug and a few floor cushions.
Also, lighting and ventilation are top priorities, using large windows can make the room feels bright and fresh although we may want to cover the windows especially if the kids’ bedroom is also in the same attic room and the windows give direct light to the bed area.
Try white color to make the playroom feels larger, also, we may want to paint the floor too or using rugs to create clean-looking attic playroom for our kids. Pinterest.com
